When they are right there, so close, and they smell so good. You want to reach out, glide your hands around their shoulders, down their arms and slide your fingers into theirs. But you can't, you desperetely try to get a hold of yourself before you lose control. Before you ruin everything. Your stomach is full of knots, you smash your teeth together to avoid a kiss that kiss you have been waiting for. Their gentle touch, their warm body heat so close it sends chills up your spine. As they turn their head you feel their soft, shampoo-smelling hair caress your cheek. As you stand so close yet so far from the one who is truly yours, your heart aches.
